Zelenskyy reports strikes near St Petersburg – video

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Ukrainian "long-range sanctions" were implemented near the Russian city of St Petersburg on the night of 3-4 July.

Details: According to Zelenskyy, the distance to the strike locations this time was more than 850 kilometres from the border.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "Ukraine's defence forces struck port oil infrastructure that generates revenue for Russia's war, and there were also successful strikes on Kronstadt – an important military target."

Background: Earlier, Russian sources reported that drones had attacked a port in Russia's Leningrad Oblast.
