President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that the first meeting dedicated to the Ukrainian anti-ballistic system Freya will take place in France in the coming days.

Details: Zelenskyy said that this project is a Ukrainian anti-ballistic system that should serve as a Patriot equivalent for intercepting ballistic targets.

"This is a European model. Our first meeting in this direction will be in France. And it will happen very soon. We will certainly announce it publicly," the Ukrainian president said.

He noted that if the leaders and companies to whom the project will be presented support Freya, it will "come to life".

"Priority number one is anti-ballistic defence. And Freya can help Ukraine with this above all (...) And also, importantly, we will share this idea with all partners, above all Europeans who have helped Ukraine during this war," Zelenskyy added.
