Details: Among his key priorities, Zelenskyy named improving dialogue between the army and the Ministry of Defence, resolving issues related to territorial recruitment centres and strengthening air defence.
"I will also have talks today with the leadership of our army, as well as with the minister of defence of Ukraine. All this will take place before the faction meeting [Servant of the People – ed.]," Zelenskyy said.
He added that he has not yet decided whether Mykhailo Fedorov will be reappointed as defence minister in the new government, which is currently being formed.
Another priority outlined by Zelenskyy is the development of the defence-industrial base.
"Our defence industry is aimed at protecting our skies – and not only the skies; we are working on this. We must move very quickly in one direction, without any politics – toward forcing Russia to end the war, or at least to a ceasefire," Zelenskyy said.
