Quote from Sybiha: "Today, Russia once again struck a civilian facility in the Sumy region belonging to Mondelēz International, a world-renowned American multinational corporation.
Two Russian drone strikes damaged the plant's premises and injured several employees. Fortunately, there were no casualties."

Details: Sybiha stated that persistent and deliberate Russian attacks on American business interests in Ukraine demonstrate that Russian aggression is not only a threat to Ukraine but also a direct blow to American economic interests in Europe.
Suspilne reported, citing Sumy Oblast Prosecutor's Office, that five people have been injured in the Russian attack on Trostianets: two men aged 63 and 50, and three women aged 41, 43 and 53.
Russia has attacked the facility this year, including in June and February.
For reference: Mondelēz International is the manufacturer of Oreo, Milka, Toblerone, Barny and Tuc chocolate and biscuits, among other products.
Background: In 2025, Bloomberg reported that following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Mondelēz International Inc. had joined companies that pledged to reduce their presence in Russia. The company subsequently abandoned those commitments, prompting some shareholders to renew calls for greater transparency.
