Another Russian drone strike in Kyiv, number injured rises to eight

The number of people injured in Kyiv due to Russian drone attacks on 29 August has risen to eight. A non-residential building in the capital has been hit again.

Three of those injured have been hospitalised by medics. The others either received outpatient treatment or were treated at the scene."

Details: At 17:48, Klitschko also reported that a non-residential building in Kyiv's Podilskyi district has been hit again. An air-raid warning had been issued in Kyiv beforehand due to the threat of UAVs.

Background:

  • A drone crashed in Kyiv's Obolonskyi district on the afternoon of 29 August, damaging a café and killing a two-year-old girl. Another drone struck a non-residential building in the capital's Podilskyi district.
  • Earlier, Klitschko reported five people injured in the capital.
