Royal Navy tracked Russian vessels off UK coast for three days
The UK's Royal Navy spent three days tracking Russian vessels sailing near the UK coast.

Details: The "intensive" 72-hour operation, which has only now been made public, took place last week.
Four Russian ships that sailed from the North Sea through to the English Channel were monitored. The Russian destroyer Admiral Levchenko was escorting the sanctioned cargo vessels General Skobelev and Sparta towards Dover.
Their movements were monitored by HMS Duncan, HMS St Albans and HMS Severn, with a helicopter also deployed for aerial surveillance.
In response, Russia additionally deployed the Neustrashimy frigate.
The Royal Navy recently warned of increased Russian activity in UK waters. Russian warships are frequently observed in the strait between the British port of Dover and the French port of Calais, as well as in the North Sea.
