Russia attacks Ukraine with missile and over 120 drones, air defence downs 96, hits recorded
Russian forces attacked Ukraine with one Kh-59 air-to-surface missile and 121 Shahed (most jet-powered) and Gerbera attack drones as well as Parodiya decoy UAVs on the night of 30-31 August.

Details: Early reports indicated that as of 08:00, Ukrainian air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 96 Shahed, Gerbera and other types of drones in the country's north, south, east and centre. The Kh-59 air-to-surface missile failed to reach its target.
Hits by aerial assets have been recorded at 11 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at eight locations.
The attack is ongoing, as several Russian drones are still in the airspace.
