Russian forces attacked Ukraine with ballistic missiles and 167 drones of various types on the night of 4-5 September.

Details: The Russians used an unspecified number of Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and 167 UAVs. About half of the drones were jet-powered.

Early reports indicated that as of 08:30, Ukrainian air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 128 Russian drones.

Hits by missiles and attack drones have been recorded at 23 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at one location.

At the time of the report, the attack was still ongoing.

Background: Units from Ukraine's defence forces have been ordered to observe a ceasefire along the line of contact from 00:00 on 5 September until 23:59 on 8 September.
