Ukrainian National Guard posts video of rare Russian electronic warfare system being destroyed

Lasar's Group, a special-purpose unit of the Ukrainian National Guard, has released footage showing the destruction of a rare Russian electronic warfare system, the Zhytel, deep behind Russian lines.

Quote: "In mid-summer, we hunted down a rare beast – the R-330Zh Zhytel automated jamming system. It was primarily being used to jam reconnaissance drones and prevent Ukraine's defence forces from monitoring the area around Siverskodonetsk.

Lasar's Group carried out the entire operation to destroy the electronic warfare system on its own. Intelligence analysts, working together with the unit's aerial reconnaissance crews, pinpointed the exact location of the R-330Zh Zhytel. We then rapidly planned an operation using Lasar bomber drones manufactured by our own team.

The Lasar strike crews launched their drones, flew 55 km deep into enemy territory and destroyed the target. Now the Zhytel can't interfere with Ukrainian drones anymore."
