Zelenskyy meets Witkoff and Kushner in Kyiv, talks begin – video
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has met US President Donald Trump's envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in Kyiv, as they arrived in Ukraine for the first time as part of efforts to end the war.

Details: President Zelenskyy welcomed Kushner and Witkoff in central Kyiv, on the Sofiiska Square.
Commenting on US negotiators' talks at the Kremlin on 5 September, a White House representative told Radio Liberty that "the sides discussed concrete plans for the next steps, which will be announced in the coming weeks". The representative added that Trump's envoys "look forward to equally productive meetings" in Ukraine on 6 September.
Update: At 14:15, Zelenskyy reported that the talks had begun.

- Witkoff and Kushner arrived in Ukraine on Sunday.
- Earlier on 6 September, Zelenskyy said he had held a meeting with the negotiating team ahead of a meeting with the representatives of the US president.
