Russia attacks Ukraine with 92 drones: air defence downs over 70 UAVs, strikes recorded

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 92 UAVs on the night of 6-7 September, including Shaheds (some jet-powered), Gerberas, Parodiya-type decoy drones and S8000 Banderol missile drones.

Details: Early reports indicate as of 09:00, Ukrainian air defence had shot down or jammed 71 Russian UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types as well as other types of drones.
Russian aerial weapons struck 12 locations, while debris from downed targets fell at one location.
The air attack has been repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces.
The attack is ongoing, with Russian UAVs still in Ukrainian airspace.
