Ukrainian forces strike control station for Russian Orion drones in Crimea
Units of Ukraine's defence forces struck a number of Russian military facilities on 17 September and on the night of 17-18 September.

Quote: "In the area of the settlement of Novofedorivka at Saky airfield in Crimea, a ground control station for the enemy's Orion unmanned aerial vehicles was struck."
Details: The General Staff said that the Orion is a medium-altitude long-endurance drone capable of remaining airborne for up to 24 hours, conducting optical-electronic reconnaissance and target designation at altitudes of up to 7.5 km and carrying up to 200-250 kg of guided aviation weaponry.
The General Staff reported that striking the ground control station significantly limits Russian forces' ability to use these systems in the relevant operational sector.
Quote: "In the area of Donetsk, a storage, preparation and launch site for attack drones was struck."
More details: In addition, according to the General Staff, the destruction of a Russian ammunition depot in the area of Dovzhansk, Luhansk Oblast, and a stores and equipment depot belonging to Russian forces in the area of Kypuche has been confirmed.
