Polish Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz has stated that supporting Ukraine is in Poland's national interest because it allows Russian missiles and drones to be intercepted before they cross the EU border.

Quote: "Missiles are falling, drones are falling a kilometre from the Polish border. If Ukraine does not have air defence systems, if it does not have ammunition to shoot down these drones, most of them will fly across Ukraine and reach Poland.
