Five EU countries to modernise several training centres for Ukrainian troops
The Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, Denmark and Luxembourg will fund the modernisation of two training centres for Ukrainian troops in Ukraine.

Details: Kallas said the Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, Denmark and Luxembourg will fund the modernisation of two training centres in Ukraine.
Quote: "Earlier this year, I proposed financing the modernisation of two training centres in Ukraine, and I also want to thank the Netherlands for its contribution that was announced today that actually closes the gap that we had in financing.
With this support and the support of Germany, Ireland, Denmark and Luxembourg, we can now move on with both sides of these training centres."
Background:
- Kallas also announced a decision to extend the mandate of the EUMAM training mission for Ukraine for another two years.
- She previously said that €900 million from the €6.6 billion unlocked from the European Peace Facility had been earmarked for EUMAM.
- On 28 September, it also became known that the Netherlands will allocate €10 million for the operation of training centres for military personnel in Ukraine.
