Drone crashes and explodes in Moldova – video

A drone flew through Moldovan airspace on the morning of 30 September before crashing outside the village of Hîrbovăț in Anenii Noi District and exploding.

Details: Police were alerted to the incident at 05:40 after receiving a report that a drone had been spotted flying at low altitude over the city of Bender.

The drone later crashed near the village of Hîrbovăț, where it exploded. Early reports indicate that there are no casualties.

The area has been cordoned off and specialised police units are working at the scene. Experts will examine the object and establish all the circumstances of the incident.

Background:
