Russian forces have once again struck the Pivdennyi (South) Bridge in Kyiv.

Background:
- On the morning of 1 October two drone strikes were recorded near the support structure of the Pivdennyi Bridge in Kyiv. Later that day Russians struck the bridge again.
- On the night of 1-2 October Russian forces attacked the city of Kyiv hitting the Pivdennyi Bridge once again.
- Following the attack Kyiv closed the Pivdennyi and Paton bridges in both directions, while traffic on the Metro Bridge is restricted towards the right bank.
- The Kyiv mayor, following a meeting of the Kyiv City Military Administration, confirmed that the Pivdennyi Bridge is completely closed to metro traffic in both directions until experts issue their final technical evaluation.
