Details: Reiche described difficult negotiations with the Ukrainian president, during which recent corruption scandals in Ukraine were raised.
"Yes, of course, we must talk about this, and we do," she said.
Regarding the billions of euros Kyiv receives from Germany for weaponry and infrastructure, the minister noted that Germany wants to be certain that this money is used strictly for its intended purpose.
Reiche added that if Ukraine truly wants to move seriously towards the European Union, then the issue of corruption is one that must definitely be resolved.
According to Reiche, there are high expectations for Zelenskyy.
The minister declared that there are assurances that the work will continue. However, Germany must also ensure that this does not remain merely an assurance, but that measurable results will be seen.
