At the same time, such speeds have not yet been recorded. The speed of jet drones currently used by the Russians reaches up to 600 km/h.
Cherevashenko noted that Russia has significantly increased its use of jet drones since July, with them currently accounting for approximately 40% of all deployed UAVs. Overall, the Air Force projects that this percentage will rise to 80%.
Regarding countermeasures against Russian jet drones, Cherevashenko noted that active work is ongoing with manufacturers of jet interceptor UAVs: 20 manufacturing companies are currently communicating with the Air Force. Test flights are already being conducted by 14 companies. Among them, six companies have achieved certain results in destroying jet drones and three companies have results that the Air Force considers promising.
Answering the question of when to expect the supply of jet drone interceptors on the required scale, Cherevashenko replied: "Not earlier than the end of November."
