Putin threatens Ukraine with retaliation over strikes on Russian oil refineries: "They started this"

Russian ruler Vladimir Putin, ignoring the so-called "energy ceasefire" announced by US President Donald Trump, has stated that Russia will retaliate against Ukraine for alleged strikes on its oil refineries.
Source: Putin, quoted by Russian media outlets
Quote: "Yesterday, there were attempts to strike some oil refineries. They hit some spots, nothing significant, but nevertheless, they continue.
The same goes for e-commerce platforms. So they took the first step. We started to respond, now they are already squealing about the energy sector and other targets, including data centres, and so on."
Details: At the same time, Putin cynically claimed that Ukraine was the instigator and threatened "consequences": "They started it, they shouldn't have started it. They should have thought carefully about the consequences before taking this step."
Background: Russian leader Vladimir Putin previously called a proposal to refrain from striking Ukrainian vessels if Ukraine stopped its attacks on Russian oil refineries meaningless.
