Head of Energoatom: IAEA Director General intends to visit Kyiv

IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi intends to visit Kyiv.

Source: Petro Kotin, Head of Energoatom (the Ukrainian state enterprise operating all four of Ukraine’s nuclear power plants) during the telethon and on Energoatom’s Telegram channel.

Details: The date of the visit has not yet been set.

Kotin also stressed that Ukraine needs the IAEA to go beyond expressing concern.

Earlier, Ukraine rejected the idea of holding talks with the IAEA and the Russian regulator about Ukrainian nuclear power plants seized by the Russian military as an attempt by the Russians to establish themselves at Ukrainian nuclear facilities.
