Long curfew linked to possible escalations - Klychko

Kyiv city authorities are urging people to stay at home, or in shelter, during curfew in the capital and the region.

Details: Ukrainska Pravda asked Klitschko why a continuous curfew had been imposed for a day and a half.

According to the Mayor: 'It has to do with possible escalations. And it has to do with concern for the safety of the residents of our city.

"I would recommend that people stay in shelters or at home for that day and a half. And make sure you avoid getting hit by shelling, or anything else."

Details: Klychko stressed that the curfew is being imposed by the military administration.

Background: A curfew has been imposed in Kyiv and the region from 8pm on 15 March to 7am on 17 March.
