Details: According to Andrii Demchenko, passenger traffic through the border crossings remains heavy even though it has decreased slightly overall. For instance, earlier passenger flow used to be about 120,000 people a day in both directions, but these days it is approximately 90,000.

Passenger traffic at the Ukraine-Moldova border is much lighter. Needless to say, the majority of people are leaving the country.

Quote: "In general 2,4 million people, 1,8 million of them Ukrainians, have crossed the border since February 24.

At the same time, almost 310,000 Ukrainians have crossed the border into Ukraine over this period. The majority of these are men. We do not record the purpose of their visit, but when talking to the border guards, people say they are coming back to defend the country."
