Russian Forces use cluster munition during bombardment of Kharkiv, killing 6

Russian troops fired cluster bombs at the village of Kozacha Lopan in the Derhachiv district of Kharkiv region, killing at least six people.

Quote: "Several hours ago, the Russian army fired cluster bombs at Kozacha Lopan. At least six people were killed and the number of injured is being determined.

The occupiers destroyed the railway station, several shops, pharmacies and other civilian buildings in the centre of the village. At the same time, the military infrastructure facilities the invaders had established in Kozacha Lopan, as well as the Russian forces here were not damaged."


Details: Zadorenko stressed that cluster munitions are very dangerous weapons, prohibited by the 2008 Dublin Convention. They are currently being used to bomb Kharkiv, Dergachi, and many other cities in Ukraine.
