MoD report: Russian landing party neutralised near Balovne

The Ministry of Defence reports on the current situation regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Notably, it has reported the destruction of enemy troops in the area of the village of Balovne.

Details: Towards Volyn, the enemy continues to hold drills along the state border.
Towards Polissya, the enemy is trying to carry out offensive operations around the towns of Kozarovychi, Vyshhorod, Fastiv, and Obukhiv. They are further deploying field logistics camps in the Borodyanka, Katyuzhanka, and Gavronshchyna districts, the report notes.
Towards Siversk, the Russian occupiers have not succeeded in occupying the Ukrainian cities of Chernihiv, Nizhyn, Sumy, Lebedyn, and Okhtyrka. They are now trying to reach the northern outskirts of Kiev while avoiding clashes with Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Enemy units and subdivisions were concentrated in the areas of Baryshevka, Nova Basan, and Lyubech. The BTGr [battalion tactical group] from the 200th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade of the 14th Army Corps of the Northern Fleet of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation has lost combat capability. It is regrouping and trying to attack towards Brovary and Kyiv.
Towards Slobozhansky, the enemy is conducting an offensive in Zolochiv, Kharkiv, and Balakliya, trying to continue the offensive towards Lozova. Russian forces are catastrophically in need of replenishment of lost equipment and personnel.
Towards Donetsk, the invaders from the 1st and 2nd Army Corps, with the support of artillery, continue their offensive operations around Novy Aidar, Volnovakha and Mariupol. The enemy did not achieve the main goal of capturing Mariupol and reaching the administrative border of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Towards Tavriya, the enemy is not abandoning attempts to conduct an offensive operation. After regrouping and bringing in part of operational reserves, Russian troops concentrated their main efforts towards Mykolayiv - Voznesensk.
In the Black Sea zone, naval groups of the Black Sea Fleet continue to fire on civilian ships and capture sailors.
For the first time, Russian war criminals have acknowledged the mass deaths and injuries of their own soldiers. During the regular evening briefing, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defence published its information about the losses of the Russian occupation forces in Ukraine: 498 dead and 1,597 wounded.
Some of the enemy forces are continuing to operate around Energodar, Vasylivka, Tokmak, Novopetrivka. After regrouping and bringing in part of the operational reserves from the 205th Separate Motorised Infantry brigade of the 49th General Army of the Russian Armed Forces, it is continuing the offensive. The enemy’s goal is to reach the outskirts of Zaporizhia and Mariupol.
To ensure further landing of tactical airborne troops from the 10th special brigade of the Russian Armed Forces in the area of Balovne, the invader deployed a small air landing party, which was destroyed by the Ukrainian troops.
In the waters of the Black Sea, the landing detachment of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation consisting of four large landing ships accompanied by three rocket boats has been seen to be moving towards Odessa.
On 2 March, 3 Russian military planes and 2 helicopters were destroyed by the anti-aircraft missiles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
