Dmytro Kuleba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, has accused Russian Foreign Minister Sergiy Lavrov of spreading misinformation about so-called state protection of a "torchlight procession of the Nazis" in Ukraine.

Quote: "Lavrov is personally attacking the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Mr. Lavrov, you must understand: the only ideology in Ukraine at the moment is the People’s war against the Russian invaders. You have thrown Russian soldiers under the bus, which you obviously don’t feel sorry for. It’s not torches that are burning in Ukraine, but Russian tanks.

Details: Kuleba stressed that, unlike the Russian leadership, Zelenskyy and the army are together with the Ukrainian people, both during wartime and peacetime.

Quote: "Volodymyr Zelenskyy doesn’t hide in bunkers and doesn’t keep the distance of a football field between him and his own people.

He is staying in the heart of Ukraine, in Kyiv, protecting his state shoulder-to-shoulder with Ukrainian warriors and civilians.

It is Russia, not Ukraine, that is resorting to the criminal practices of Nazism and will be held accountable for it."

Context: Russian Foreign Minister Sergiy Lavrov called Volodymyr Zelenskyy a neo-Nazi and a racist, saying that the President of Ukraine allegedly "gives his protection so that Nazis can calmly carry out their torchlight processions."
