Details: As of the morning of 3 March, Russia’s losses in the war with Ukraine have reached 9,000 soldiers, with 217 tanks, 900 armoured vehicles, 30 planes and a substantial amount of other equipment destroyed.

According to Putin, however, the war with Ukraine is going "according to the plan". He added that the military "operation" is unfolding strictly according to the intended timeline, and that all "tasks" have been "successfully completed".

Crucially, the president of the Russian Federation made a series of other statements. He alleged that "nationalists" and "foreign recruits" are using civilians as human shields, thereby accusing Ukrainian troops of practices that the occupying forces are engaging in.
