In Hostomel, where fierce fighting has continued since the first day of the war, Russian occupying forces began to take civilians hostage.

Verbatim: "We've lost Hostomel again. About forty people are being held hostage. Please bring this to the attention of foreign journalists.

"Two sources brought to light Russian soldiers' capture of the residents of the Pokrovs'kyy block of flats in the city of Hostomel. The building is located at Svyato-Pokrovs'ka 73d. Yesterday, they entered the building and dug outside. It was in front of this block of flats that the Russian occupying forces fired artillery projectiles.

"Forty people who, prior to this, had been hiding in the basement have been unable to be reached since this morning. Unknown individuals answered one of the numbers.

 "Efforts to save these hostages must be undertaken immediately".

Details: The journalist added that the population in Hostomel is being terrorised by the paratroopers of the 31st Detached Guards Airborne Assault Brigade from Ulyanovsk, Russia.
