Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba called on Ukrainians in the European Union to mobilise for next week's large-scale actions in support of Ukraine's rapid accession to the EU.

The chief diplomat said this at a briefing on Sunday, "European Pravda" reports.

Quote: "I appeal to every Ukrainian, every Ukrainian living abroad or temporarily staying there and every member of the Ukrainian diaspora to mobilise and hold powerful public events in all European Union countries next week in support of Ukraine's accession to the European Union as soon as possible."

Kuleba asked Ukrainians to unite with local activists and the media to build a strong campaign in support of Ukraine's speedy accession to the EU, as he said it was a unique moment.

Quote: "We see an increase in support for our country's membership in the EU in all the countries of the European Union. Hundreds of thousands and millions of EU citizens are on your side. Reach out to them, mobilise and make their governments hear them and decide to approve EU  membership for Ukraine as soon as possible."

As you know, on 1 March, the European Union officially began the procedure of consideration of the Ukrainian application for membership after the relevant application was signed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
