Russian troops shell school and 2 apartment buildings in Sievierodonetsk

Two high-rise apartment buildings in a new neighbourhood in Sievierodonetsk in the Luhansk region, as well as a secondary school building, came under intense fire from the Russian army on the morning of 10 April. Two elderly people have been rescued.

Details: The shelling took place on the morning of 10 April. At one of the entrances to one of the apartment blocks, all apartments from the ground to the fourth floors burned down. Firefighters contained the blaze and evacuated two locals, both in their eighties, who still remained in this building, which has already been hit several times.

Russian shelling caused another fire nearby, burning down three apartments on the fourth floor of a different apartment building. Fortunately, there were no casualties. The building of one of the nearby schools was also damaged.

Two houses in Lysychansk and Komyshuvakha-1 were also destroyed last night.
