When I was leaving, I talked to some community leaders".

Details: According to him, the evacuation of the population has been going on since 24 February, but has intensified in the last week due to information about a massive offensive by Russian occupying forces.

He said he had worked with heads of regional administrations to increase the effectiveness of evacuations. His deputies report to him daily on the number of evacuees from various settlements.

Kyrylenko stated that the evacuation from Kramatorsk continued by buses, as well as by train from the nearest stations.

The head of the military administration also said that the number of victims of the Russian army rocket attack on the Kramatorsk railway station has not changed.

Background:

  • President Volodymyr Zelenskyy refused to give predictions about the battle for Donbas and admitted that the fighting would be very difficult.
  • The Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba said the battle for Donbas would be similar to World War II battles.
