According to Kyrylenko: "3 people were injured last night in Mariupol in an explosion involving an unidentified substance which the Russians dropped from a UAV. It is still too early to say what the substance was exactly and whether this can be classified as a chemical attack."

Details: Kyrylenko said that Russian troops are trying to conceal evidence of their atrocities in Mariupol and using mobile crematoria to burn the bodies of the civilians they murdered.

According to information from the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, the death toll in Mariupol is in the thousands.

Background:

  • On 11 April the "Azov" Regiment said that Russian occupying troops in Mariupol had deployed chemical weapons in an attack on the Azovstal plant, which was held by the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
