Quote: "The command of the Russian army is failing to implement plans to mobilise human resources in the North Caucasus region to participate in the war against Ukraine. The main reason is the reluctance of the population of this region to take part in hostilities.

Details: The Russian occupying forces are trying to complete the preparations for the offensive in the eastern regions of Ukraine. The aviation group and the command and control system are currently being expanded.

Ukrainian intelligence also has information on the training of additional units from the Northern Fleet of the Russian Federation and the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District, which are being given equipment and ammunition from warehouses and long-term storage facilities.

The General Staff reports that Russia has lost more than half of its personnel in two occupying units of the Russian Federation stationed in Crimea: in the 126th Separate Coast Guard Brigade (Perevalne) and the 127th Separate Reconnaissance Brigade (Sevastopol).

In the Kharkiv region, the occupiers are conducting reconnaissance in the potential areas of the offensive, replenishing supplies and establishing medical supplies. Partial blockade of Kharkiv and artillery shelling of residential areas of the city continue.

The occupying troops of the Russian Federation, which withdrew from the Sumy region to the Kursk and Bryansk regions, are now being moved to the Belgorod and Voronezh regions.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in Belgorod, the Russians deployed a unit of information and psychological operations of their Armed Forces in an attempt to demoralise civilians in the Kharkiv region and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Donbas region, the Russian occupiers, with the support of aircraft and artillery, continue to attack certain areas. The invaders have attempted to capture Popasna, Rubizhne, Sievierodonetsk, and Sloviansk. Ukrainian intelligence also noticed preparations for a Russian offensive near Barvinkove in the Kharkiv region.

Units of the 36th Combined Arms Army of the Eastern Military District are being relocated to the Gomel region of Belarus.

Background: As of 14 April, the 50th day of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, Russian occupying forces have lost more than 19.900 soldiers, 160 aircraft, 144 helicopters, more than 750 tanks, more than 120 multiple rocket launchers and nearly 2,000 armoured combat vehicles.
