Quote by Ministry of Internal Affairs: "Kyiv Region Police Chief, Andrii Niebytov said that a number of tragic cases have already been documented when ignoring law enforcement officers’ warnings has cost citizens not only their health but also their life."

Details: In particular, in Havronshchyna local residents entered a residential building that wasn’t inspected by explosives technicians. Russian aggressors had left a trip wire in the basement of this building. Three people were injured as a result.

In the Bucha district, a car transporting a team of electricians in Nalyvaikivka village hit a mine. The driver and an electrician were injured to varying degrees as a result of the explosion. Both victims are currently hospitalised.

In early April, a 46-year-old Kyiv resident was driving to Vyshhorod district in order to deliver medicine for his mother. He was killed in an explosive trap blast on a forest road near Fenevychi village. The man died on the spot from his injuries.

Andrii Niebytov urged all residents of Kyiv region to be careful, to abstain from "journeys" in the areas not inspected by specialists, to abstain from using forest roads and paths in areas that were under occupation, and to watch children.

Rescuers or police should be immediately notified of any dangerous findings.
