Quote: "Despite the fact that our air defence system works and our military is defending us, even so there have been explosions in the Darnytsia district. One person died and several people are now in hospital; doctors are fighting for their lives."

Details: Klitschko recalled that a few days ago the Russian command threatened to attack Kyiv and other cities.

He noted that Kyiv was and remains a target of the aggressor, so it is possible that the shelling of the capital will continue.

The mayor once again called on Kyiv residents who have left the city not to return home yet.

Quote: "We cannot ban people from returning, we can only advise them. But we suggest, based on the advice of the military, who have more information…

If you have the opportunity to stay a little longer in cities where it is safer, do that."

Details: Klitschko also emphasised that visiting parks and forests on the outskirts of Kyiv is prohibited because they could be mined: there have already been tragic cases due to violations of this ban.
