Russian invaders are transferring additional anti-aircraft missile divisions of "Tor" surface-to-air missiles (SAM), and are also deploying S-400 and S-300 anti-aircraft missile divisions in the Belgorod region.

Details: Missile and air strikes on civilian targets all over the territory of Ukraine do not cease. Throughout April 18, there was an intensification in Russian missile strikes on targets in the western regions of Ukraine.

In the Slobozhansky and Donetsk operational districts, the Russian army is carrying out offensive and assault operations in some areas.

The invader continues to transfer weapons and military equipment to Ukraine from the central and eastern regions of the Russian Federation. Along with combat units, the transfer of support units is being carried out.

In addition, to improve the system of material and technical support, the Russians are deploying logistic centres and creating field bases for repairing and renewing their damaged equipment.

On the Slobozhansky front, a significant part of the Russian army continues to partially blockade the city of Kharkiv.

According to the available information, to organise an air defence system for the offensive group, the Russian army is transferring additional anti-aircraft missile divisions of "Tor" short-range surface-to-air missile systems to the Kharkiv region.

At the same time, in the Belgorod region that borders on Ukraine,  mobile divisions of S-400 surface-to-air missiles and long range S-300 surface-to-air missiles have been deployed  to cover the main command points and rear areas.

On the Izyum front, the Russian army is carrying out an offensive on the left bank of the  Siverskyi Donets River. To support their group’s offensive over a significant area, the Russian army has created a system of main and reserve firing positions for rocket and field artillery.

On the Donetsk and Tavriya fronts, the Russian army has intensified its offensive along the entire line of contact. 

Its main effort is concentrated on breaking the defence of the Ukrainian troops in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, as well as on establishing full control over the city of Mariupol. In the Zaporizhzhia district, there’s still a concentration of Russian units in certain areas.  

On the Southern Buh front, the occupier is focussing its main effort on reaching the administrative border of the Kherson region. To improve their tactical situation, the aggressor is trying to carry out an offensive in the area of Oleksandrivka, a settlement in the Kherson region.  The Russian army continues to shell civilian targets in the city of Mykolaiv.

On the Volyn, Polissya and Siversky fronts, no significant changes have been recorded.

The Republic of Belarus continues to provide its territory for carrying out air strikes on the territory of Ukraine and conducting reconnaissance of objects on our territory.  

According to updated information, the 126th Coast Guard Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet has losses of up to 75%. The 810th Independent Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet has lost 158 ​​troops killed, about 500 wounded, and 70 missing.

A significant number of the troops of these brigades have written reports refusing to participate in the so-called "special operation".

On 18 April, on the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Ukraine’s defenders repelled seven Russian attacks, and destroyed nine tanks, eighteen armoured units and eight vehicles, one artillery system, and one enemy’s mortar with the crew.

On April 18,  the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit seven air targets: one plane, four UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) and two cruise missiles.
