According to reporter for Evropeiska Pravda, Zelenskyy said this during a press conference in Kyiv after his meeting with Charles Michel, President of the European Council.

In response to a question, he stated that not only has he not seen any proposals from Russia, but he was convinced that they did not exist.

"I am sure that nothing was handed over to us," Zelensky reiterated.

He also commented on Dmitry Peskov’s words that "the ball is in Kyiv’s court."

"Basically, I used to play football well. There are some rules: there should be two teams and there should be a ball. It seems to me that Peskov is playing football with himself.

We will make sure to demonstrate how we score goals as soon as we are given the ball," Zelensky added.

On Wednesday, the Kremlin announced that they have submitted a "document" to Ukraine as part of the peace talks. Mykhailo Podoliak, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said at the time that Ukraine was studying the position of the Russian Federation.
