Quote: "So far, our draft document has been handed over to the Ukrainian side, it includes absolutely clear wording. The ball is on their side. We are waiting for an answer."

Details: the press secretary of the head of the aggressor country once again stated that "the Ukrainian side is constantly deviating from its previously agreed points,  it is constantly changing their words."

According to Peskov, "this has very bad consequences in terms of the effectiveness of negotiations."

At the same time, it is not clear at this time which draft document  is in question and when it was handed over.

Ukrainska Pravda has requested comments from the Office of the President of Ukraine.

The Office of the President said that they would study the counter-proposals expressed by Russia in response to Ukraine's proposals about a system of security guarantees for our country.

Quote by the Adviser to the Head of the President's Office Mykhailo Podoliak: "As for the negotiation process, during the Istanbul round, Ukraine handed over its proposals on set solutions to its opponents. This included security guarantees to ensure no further attacks on our country.

The Russian side studied the proposals and expressed their counter-proposals. Then it is our turn to study, compare, draw conclusions, considering also political and legal aspects."

Previously: Mykhailo Podoliak, Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, noted that the siege of Mariupol by Russia has further complicated the negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow, so it is difficult to say when direct contacts between the parties can be resumed.
