Zelenskyy: Our country’s fate is being decided in its east and south

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has stressed that the future of the war and the future of Ukraine are being decided in the east and south of Ukraine right now.

According to Zelenskyy: "The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to deter the attacks of the Russian invaders in the east and south of our country.

The Izium front, Donbas, the Azov Sea region, Mariupol, Kherson Region – this is where the fate of this war and of our country’s future are being decided right now."

Details: The President said that the Russian occupying forces are trying to accomplish their crude goal – "to kill as many people as possible and destroy everything they can see" – in Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, and Donetsk Region more generally, in Popasna and Luhansk Region, and in Kharkiv and its outskirts.

Zelenskyy thanked all of Ukraine’s defenders "who are resisting courageously and getting the Russian army used to the idea that Russia might have fewer chances to win this war than Ukraine does."

Ukraine’s President also said he believes that Russia planned the invasion of Ukraine only as a stepping stone to invading other countries.

According to Zelenskyy: "Of course we will continue defending our country for as long as we need to crush this ambition of the Russian Federation. But all the peoples who believe in the victory of life over death like we do have to fight with us. They have to help us, because we were the first on Russia’s list.

Who is next? If those who might be next tomorrow want to remain neutral today in order to avoid losses, that is the riskiest bet. Because you will lose everything."
