Russian forces continue to partially blockade Kharkiv, firing on Ukrainian troops and critical infrastructure. To complicate the movement of the Ukrainian Defence Forces near Korotychi, Russians remotely mined the area.

No action in the Volyn and Polissya areas, but Belarusian troops continue to patrol the Ukrainian-Belarusian border in Brest and Gomel regions. In the areas of Grabovka, Hlybotske, and Kalinino in the Gomel region, military positions were set up by engineers.

No significant changes in the Siversk area. The Border Service of the FSB of the Russian Federation continues to closely guard the Ukrainian-Russian border in the Bryansk and Kursk Oblasts. Russia is shelling the positions of Ukrainian troops near Kurulka and Nova Dmytrivka and conducting air reconnaissance using Orlan-10 drones in the areas of Barvinkove, Kurulka, and Husarivka.

In the Donetsk and Tavriysk areas, Russian forces fired on Ukrainian positions using mortars, artillery, and rocket-propelled grenades along the entire line of contact. They intensified the assault on Sievierodonetsk, Kurakhiv, and Popasna. Battles are ongoing in the areas of Zarichne, Rubizhne, and Popasna.

In the Sievierodonetsk area, Russian troops launched pontoon crossings across the Krasna River.

They are increasing the air defence system around Avdiivka in the Donetsk region.

In Mariupol, Russia continued shelling and blockading Ukrainian defenders of the city in the Azovstal steel plant area and inflicted air strikes, in particular from long-range aircraft. Using the railway connection, Russia is trying to establish logistical support for its troops.

In the South Bug area, Russian forces continue to hold their positions, trying to improve the tactical situation in some areas and firing on Ukrainian positions and civilian infrastructure.

Seventeen air targets were destroyed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces: nine drones, three planes, and five cruise missiles.
