The territory of the Sumy region has been entirely liberated from Russian troops.

Source: Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, on Facebook

Details: Zhyvytskyi notes that the explosions that can be heard in the region are due to the work of rescue workers and explosives technicians who are disposing of unexploded ordnance left behind by the Russian troops.

The territory of the region remains unsafe as many areas have been rigged with explosives, and many have not been surveyed yet.

Zhyvytskyi advises those traveling in cars not to drive off to the side of the road, not to use forest roads, and to refrain from approaching destroyed military equipment or former Russian encampments.
