According to Danilov: "Earlier it was said that Russia might be preparing to launch a chemical attack on the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as on some of our cities. We have taken appropriate measures, including training medical personnel [on how to provide treatment to victims of chemical attacks]. Today, there is enough antidote both in hospitals and among our defence forces."

Background: Hans Kluge, WHO Regional Director for Europe, stated that the WHO is considering all possible scenarios and preparing for different situations in which the people of Ukraine might be harmed, from continuing to treat multiple victims [of Russian attacks] to responding to chemical attacks.
