The Russians did not let evacuation buses depart from three cities

On Saturday, 4,532 people were evacuated through humanitarian corridors.

Details: On Saturday, 3,425 people went by evacuation buses and their own vehicles through humanitarian corridors from Mariupol and Berdіansk to Zaporizhzhia.

192 of them were from Mariupol.

3,233 people arrived from the cities of Zaporizhzhia region: Polohy, Vasylivka, Berdiansk, Tokmak, Melitopol and Enerhodar.

They also managed to release the buses that had been seized and to evacuate people from the city of Melitopol. 529 local residents were evacuated to Zaporizhzhia today.

Buses for evacuating people from Berdiansk, Tokmak and Enerhodar had to be returned to Zaporizhzhia because the Russian occupying forces refused to let them pass along the agreed route.

On Sunday, the authorities will try again to evacuate Ukrainian citizens.

On Saturday, 578 people were evacuated from the cities of Lysychansk, Sievierodonetsk, Rubizhne, Kreminna and Popasna in the Luhansk region.
