Quote: "The bodies of 44 dead civilians have been found in the temporarily occupied city of Izium under the rubble of a five-storey building which the occupiers destroyed in the first ten days of March.

This is yet another terrible war crime committed by the Russian occupiers against the civilian population. We document each one, and for each one they will pay!"

Details: During a 24-hour live national television broadcast, Syniehubov explained that the city of Izium remains the biggest hotspot in Kharkiv Region, with constant fighting going on. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding their positions there, but this city has been effectively under occupation for more than 2 months, and a large number of residential buildings there have been destroyed. It is impossible to evacuate civilians or deliver humanitarian aid.

Thanks to the remaining local residents, they have now finished dismantling a residential building that was destroyed back in March.

This is the 5-storey building where 44 bodies of local residents were found under the rubble.

Syniehubov cannot say for sure whether these people were in a bomb shelter, a basement or their own apartments. It wasn’t just one part or section but the whole building that was destroyed as a result of artillery shelling by the occupiers.

Quote: "This isn’t the only building like this, unfortunately, but there is no special equipment for sorting out the rubble, so everything is done manually, and usually it’s not done around the clock, but [only] when there is no shelling going on."
