Russia wants to hold pseudo-census and parody of referendum in Kherson region

Russian invaders intend to hold a "census" and  a "referendum" to their benefit in the temporarily occupied Kherson Oblast.

Details: Kirill Stremousov, one of the local aggressors’ leaders, has announced plans to hold a so-called "referendum" in the region, preceded by the invaders’ parody of a "census".

Quote from Kirill Stremousov: "… First, it is necessary to take a census of the population in Kherson Oblast at this moment, and that’s what we intend to do now."

Background: 

Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov has said that the annexation of the occupied Kherson Oblast should take place "legitimately, as it did in Crimea".

Mykhailo Podoliak, Adviser to the Head of the President's Office, said that the aggressors' accomplices in Kherson Oblast could call for these territories to be annexed to Mars, but in fact, they’ll be asking for a pardon after the court verdict.
