Russians threaten Zaporizhzhia business owners who refuse to trade in ruble

Russian occupiers are threatening those business owners in the town of Vasylivka, in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, who do not want to sell goods for rubles, with "preventive talks."

Details: Yevhen Balytskyi, Russian collaborator in Melitopol, ordered to use both hryvnia and rubles for payments starting from 20 May 2022, as well as to make non-cash payments in rubles only at an exchange rate of 2 rubles for 1 hryvnia.

Background: Three days ago, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Husnullin said in the Russian-occupied city of Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, that the ruble should be introduced in the Russian-occupied territories as soon as possible.
