Details: Later, the head of the Zhytomyr Oblast State Administration, Vitaliy Bunechko, said that at least one person had died as a result of a strike by Russian troops on Malyn.

According to Bunechko, the information is preliminary, as debris continues to be dismantled at the site of the impact.

Quote from Bunechko: "Information about one victim has already been confirmed. The attack on Malyn is very similar to the one carried out on 20 May. There was a fire at the site of the attack, which was extinguished just before 7 p.m. As for injuries, an expert group is working at the site. In fact, the homes of people who had just started repairing them and refitting their windows were damaged again."

Background: On 20 May, a missile strike on the town of Malyn in the Zhytomyr region damaged an infrastructure facility and nearly 100 houses, injuring three people.
