Ukrainian Air Force: Russia is increasing its air presence near Ukraine's borders

On 23 May, Ukraine's air defence destroyed seven Russian targets, and strike aircraft destroyed three dozen pieces of the aggressors’ equipment.

Quote: "The enemy is slightly increasing its air presence around the Ukrainian borders; however, it is not actually entering the airspace controlled by our air defence.
In order to conduct air reconnaissance and adjust their artillery fire, the occupiers continue to use unmanned aerial vehicles in Ukrainian airspace, which are successfully destroyed by our air defence."
Details: On the Lyman and Izium fronts, the strike aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force destroyed up to 30 armoured combat vehicles, together with the aggressors’ manpower, during the 24 hours of 23 May.
An Air Force fighter destroyed a cruise missile, and the Air Force's air defence units hit six drones: five Orlan-10s and one Granat drone.
In total, seven air targets were hit.
