Russia actively assaults Donbas, 10 attacks have been repulsed - Joint Forces Operation summary

Russian invaders are trying to advance along the entire line of defence in eastern Ukraine, shelling villages and launching missile and bomb strikes.

Details: The Joint Forces units continue to conduct a defence operation in their particular area of ​​responsibility on the Donetsk and Luhansk fronts.

Quote: "The enemy is using combat aircraft, multiple rocket launchers, large-calibre artillery, tanks and mortars of various systems along the entire line of defence. They are launching missile and bomb strikes on civilian infrastructure and peaceful residential areas.

The aggressors attacked over 40 settlements in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, destroying and damaging 47 civilian structures, including 38 residential buildings, a school, a health camp, a recreation centre and a railway station. 5 civilians were killed and 12 others were injured as a result of these shellings.

Ukrainian defenders in the Joint Forces repulsed 10 enemy attacks today, and battles with the aggressors are still ongoing at two locations. Our brave warriors are inflicting losses on the Ruscist invaders’ manpower and equipment."

Details: Over the past 24 hours, the Joint Forces have destroyed:

4 tanks;

1 unit of special military equipment;

2 artillery systems;

1 armoured personnel carrier;

1 car.

The air defence units have shot down 4 Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles in Ukrainian Donbas airspace.

According to Skhid Operation Command, Ukrainian soldiers killed 62 Russian aggressors in Donbas on 25 May.
