Between 22:45 and 22:55 last night, rail infrastructure in Stryi and Sambir districts was attacked. The attack has affected rail tracks and level crossings.

Throughout the night, Ukrzaliznytsia [Ukrainian Railways] and explosives specialists have been working on repairing the damage from the attack; the work is continuing at present. We hope that we will be able to repair those level crossings in the near future."

Railway infrastructure has been significantly damaged. Many trains are delayed.

Five people were injured in the missile strike; there are no fatalities. Among the five casualties (3 in Stryi district, 2 in Sambir district), four people are in a moderate condition and have been hospitalised in regional hospitals; one other person has only minor injuries and has not been hospitalised.
