Ukrainian Armed Forces repel Russian assaults on Sievierodonetsk and Sloviansk fronts – General Staff report

The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled Russian assault operations near Myrna Dolyna and Bila Hora on the Sievierodonetsk front and near Bohorodychne on the Sloviansk front.

Quote: "On the Sloviansk front, the enemy’s main efforts are focused on maintaining their previously occupied positions. They opened artillery fire on the areas around Dibrivne, Hrushuvakha, Velyka Komyshuvakha, Krasnopillia, and Dolyna. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled a Russian assault operation near the village of Bohorodychne.
On the Sievierodonetsk front, the occupiers continue to fire on units of our troops with artillery and multiple launch rocket systems. They conducted airstrikes on civilian infrastructure in the areas around Ustynivka and Lysychansk.
Civilian infrastructure near Lysychansk, Hirske, and Ustynivka came under artillery fire. Fighting to establish control over the city of Sievierodonetsk continues. In addition, Ukrainian troops thwarted the enemy’s attempts to storm Myrna Dolyna and Bila Hora."
Details: On the Bakhmut front, a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group attempted to conduct operations in the area around Mykolaivka under the cover of artillery but was forced to retreat after the Ukrainian forces opened fire on it. Later on, Russian forces attempted to conduct an assault operation in the area, but were not successful. In addition, the Russian occupying forces shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas around Bilohorivka, Berestove, Yakovlivka, and Pokrovske. Russian aircraft conducted an airstrike near Maloriazantseve and Bilohorivka.
Russian forces did not undertake active combat operations on the Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivka, and Zaporizhzhia fronts, but fired on civilian infrastructure near Kamianka, Huliaipole, Avdiivka, Vuhledar, Malynivka, and Zaliznychne. Russian aircraft conducted airstrikes on Mali Shcherbaky, Mariinka, Vuhledar, Kostiantynivka, and Novomykhailivka.
On the Kharkiv front, Russian forces attempted to conduct reconnaissance-in-force near Rtyshchivka in order to establish weaknesses in the Ukrainian defence. In addition, Russian troops fired on civilian infrastructure in and around Udy, Ukrainka, Korobochkine, Mykhailivka, and Petrivka.
On the Pivdennyi Buh front, Russian forces fired on Chervonyi Yar, Kalynivka, Topolyne, and Zelenyi Hai with mortars and artillery in order to pin down Ukrainian units in the area.
There were no significant changes on the Volyn, Polissia, and Sivershchyna fronts. On the Sivershchyna front, Russian troops shelled civilian infrastructure in border-adjacent areas of Sumy Oblast.
The General Staff reports that, due to the significant losses sustained by the Russian army, the morale of some of the units of the Russian occupation forces is low and Russian soldiers are trying to evade further involvement in hostilities. According to the available information, this is particularly true of the 1st Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces, among the units that have been withdrawn from hostilities in Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Popasna to restore combat capability.
